Some people give offerings of food such as milk and bags of flour, so they can be used for the free kitchen in the Sikh temple or Deg, the food given out after services.

Some people donate money, whatever amount they wish. That is used for various programs run by Sikh temples.

If one has no money or food to give, it is ok to give a flower, even from the roadside. Or just the love of your heart.
