It depends on what motor the 2 vehicles have, if they both have the 3.1, then yes, if one has the 3.4 and the other has the 3.1, then no, and vice versa.
yes, the 2 door grand prix uses the same door from 1988 to at least 1996
If they are the same year/engine/transmission it should be the same ECM.
Yes
they should YES THEY WILL ALL GM CARS THAT YEAR ARE 5X115 (EXAMPLE GRAND PRIX,GRAND AM,ALERO,MALIBU ECT ) ARE ALL THE SAME
They should if it's the same size engine.
Idk..but I'm having the same issue with my grand prix 2007
More than likely as long as it has the same motor?
In short, yes. Long Answer: Yes they truly are the same.
If each the Grand Am has a 3.4L V6 and the Grand Prix has either the 3.1L V6 or non-supercharged 3.8L V6 I believe they do. That transmission is a Hydra-matic 4T60E.
more than likely it is your starter telling you "hey bud, yeah its time" My 99 was doing the same thing. Turned out to be a bad starter. Replaced it and took some pics along the way. You can see them at the following link. http://hubpages.com/hub/Starter-Removal-1999-Pontiac-Grand-Prix
No, Supercharged GTP's require a higher flow fuel pump than GT's and SE's.
Had the same problem with my Grand Prix, ended up that the ignition switch had to be replaced. Hope this helps.
