Werewolves are know for being half human and half beast. Though this is coming from someone who is not a know-it-all on the species, I can tell you what I know. Werewolves are said to be a combination of human and beast. So, they most likely have the frame/body shape of a human, and other characteristics of a animal. They are said to have, sharp teeth, fur,animal like ears,and tail(s), claws, animal like eyes, long tongue, and the diet of a animal/beast. These creatures are said to have once been humans, and where turned into one by doing it themselves, or cursed, etc. .

And yes, like the answer said before I improved it...

They probably have Bad breath.

Well I'm no sure but here's some valuable information, in the early European times Europeans tell about giant man-eating wolves and If you get bit or scratched by one you will become one, they called them werewolves or the dog-man. Wolves are not actually killers. The myth of werewolves has gone on for a long time. Once I was watching this show called monster quest on the history channel about werewolves and it showed people who think they encountered a werewolf here's the story I thought was the most interesting well a man claimed he was driving down the road when he saw a fallen tree and when he drove more up the road he noticed a big black dog-like animal that he at first thought was a big dog or bear or something, until he noticed that it couldn't have been what he expected at first then he said he made ey contact with the creature, and then he said oh it's probably nothing and he drove away then he made a sketch of the creature behind the tree and started building things and stuff to make him feel more comfortable with what he saw and another person was driving with this girl with him when they stopped at a place and had to stay there for a couple hours and then all of a sudden a large hairy Bigfoot-like creature comes walking towards them the girl screamed and they drove away. The man said they think it was the dog-man, and another encountered included a married couple so this couple claimed that they were driving and all of a sudden a creature ran across the road and stopped by the bridge. And the girl said did you see that and the dude said yes and then they saw the creature jump off the bridge. Honestly I don't believe in werewolves. Ive never seen nor heard one neither has anybody I know. So know I'm 100 percent sure werewolves do not exist sorry to burst your bubble but that's just how the world was made.

B) love of meat that's mostly raw

C) bad temper

D) pointed canine teeth

Werewolves in a pack have a physic link that bonds them together, if one werewolf in the pack dies the other werewolves can sense his death. 7. if you are bitten and you kill the werewolf you WILL NOT be free from the curse, the curse is like a virus, or rabies if you will, if you get bitten by an animal that has rabies you get rabies, and if you kill the animal that gave you rabies you will not be cured. You still have the virus. 8. A werewolf can be killed by any wound that completely destroys the heart or the brain, but decapitation is the most effective way. 9. Some beliefs state that holly water can kill a werewolf, this is false. Christianity or any thing pertaining to Christianity offends some werewolves. Crosses, holy water, and The Bible do not ward off werewolves. 10. It is one belief that werewolves are deathly afraid of water regardless of the amount or the circumstances, this is also false. While it is true werewolves do not like water it only applies to large bodies such as ponds and lakes, but if need be the beast can enter the water. 11. There are several ways to tell if someone in a werewolf. becoming a werewolf is not transparent, no matter how the victim tries to hide it. Therefore, look for symptoms in your human suspects that include increasing violence, increasing aggression, unprovoked rages, insomnia, restlessness, and other bizarre behavior. Unfortunately, over time these symptoms can be brought under control, so do not rely on them exclusively. 12. Werewolves do not only turn on a full moon, neither do they have to. A werewolf can change his form and shape shift at will whenever he wants to, at day or night. Although newly turned werewolves are sometimes forced to change by certain aspects of the lunar cycles or certain sounds such as the howling of another werewolf.

WELL...

First a man/woman gets scratched/cut/mauled by another werewolf that is in wolf form. Then they turn into a werewolf.

Then, when they turn into a werewolf (dampening on which way you want to believe they change: because of full moon, because of anger, ect), either way it is a slow and painful way to turn. Then they will stay in wolf form until morning, when they are usually lying on the floor, naked.

Werewolves don't really have powers, in wolf form they are huge wolves, although because part-human they may be able to distinguish some people. In human form they are just normal people, although they have better senses as wolves have good senses. (See link to see how werewolves change in various ways).
