It depends on the teeth. If it is very crooked then it would be long.
it is possible, but its not a good idea. sucking your thumb pushes your teeth "out" while braces pushes them "in" causing basically zero effect from the braces, resulting in you having to wear them longer.
he had crooked teeth he wanted it to make it straight by wearing braces
No but I did XD
Some can but others don't
If you don't wear your retainer, then your teeth will stick out and you have to wear braces again.
Your teeth move when the arch wire puts pressure on the brackets and teeth. Sometimes, springs or rubber bands are used exert more force in a specific direction. Braces exert constant pressure, which over time, move teeth into their proper positions. Occasionally adults may need to wear headgear to keep certain teeth from moving.
That actually depends on how badly your teeth are un-straight. The mor un-straight the longer, and vice versa. ---------- This person is right. Because if you had a spacer in your mouth before you got your braces it could be a while to take off your braces. For me I only have to wear them for 2 years. Almost 1 year now.
it depends on what your orthodontist says is needed for your teeth
Yes if their teeth are really bad.
no they straighten them your teeth and after that if you wear a retainer for 6- 9 months your teeth will be straight if you don't they will go crooked then
They shouldn't move back to their original positions. The whole purpose of braces is to properly align teeth. You may be given a 'retainer' after the braces are removed; this is put on at night for a few months to make sure that the teeth stay where the braces put them.
While most people wear braces to fix their teeth, the facial structure can be improved as well. Braces can correct overbites, underbites, and crossbites.
