No. Most of them were 2-bolt mains.
The 3/4 and 1 ton 350 engines were 4-bolt main engines.
All the 1/2 tons had the 2-bolt main block.
Go to search on your computer and type in small block Chevy engine ID and you should find your answer there. Most 350s id#end with 010,which is a early engine, and if heads are off there will be a small hole between the two center head bolt holes. But the best way is ID#s.Hope that helps.
I advise taking the vehicle to a shop, replacing that alternator on XG300/350s is a pretty intensive proccess.
they should but rem vortechs r fuel injected and most 350s rnt.
350s weren't in Trans Ams in 2001, but the 5.7 LS1 had 310 hp that year.
all 1995 350s are internally balanced. still need harmonic balancer though
A vortec has different style heads. They will flow better than others within a similar price range. The only catch is they also require a different intake .... this is more expensive than similar ones. There are many used parts to be found everywhere for them. Its just a matter of prefrence
The type of oil you use depends of the mileage of your vehicle, and it also depends on where you live in the country, because of weather conditions.
yes
the 250 is way better than the 350 and kodiak the 350s body is the size of a 700 so it ways it down the 250 is the best
the raptor 250 runs in circles around the 350 the 350s chassis is so much bigger and the body is the size of a 700 so it ways it down
Many Chevy 350s still have their original engines, therefore adding a intake manifold, particularly a high rise one, will increase performance with the engine.
there are both screw in and press in studs on 350s. it depends on application. i will say that fatory heads are most likely press in. high performance applications may be screw in.
