Don't. "HID kits" are widely available, but they are (all) illegal and dangerous. The only legitimate/safe/legal HID conversion is to install complete HID headlamp assemblies designed, built, tested, and certified as such. Halogen headlamps mustuse halogen bulbs.
use BMW bulbs and parts
can any one tell me why i don't have any fog lights on the back off my BMW 3seris but all the bulbs are working
i know that to reset all the the green bars/yellow or red service lights on my 1989 318i i need to take it to a BMW repair shop and they open the hood and stick this weird looking Lightsabre-handle thing into a plug and it resets the lights on the dashboard. im sure its the same for all BMW's.
it could be a faulty alternator bring on all lights
email me at stillmanlucky@yahoo.com and i will email you a picture of it.

electrical problem. bring it to a mechanic they have all the tools to fix it
why do the head lights blink like a strobe. Hmmm, maybe it's a old police unit. If lights are blinking like that it is a anti theft device & only will do it siting still. are on all the time just another safety device added to sell a car.
I think that if you wish your lights to be on during the day you have to bring your keys, all of them, to the dealer and he will be able to program them so that your car operates with lights on all the time.
You can easily change to regular lights, all you have to do is bypass the amp that's located behind the radiator on the passenger side. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you touch ANYTHING, because the amp creates enormous amounts of power that could actually be fatal. Hard to imagine from a 12V Battery right? Once you bypass the amp, you'll have to find a way to fit a regular bulb in your hid light sockets...just be creative.
