Best Answer

They don't. The nucleus is only present in eukaryotic cells. (Animal Cell) Prokaryotic cells don't have nuclei. (Bacteria)

No, not all cells have a nucleus. An example of a cell without a nucleus is a red blood cell, the numbers of these are controlled by the bone marrow and the spleen.

However you forget that we can also have prokaryote cells (bacteria), and they have circular DNA but do not have a nucleus. I think your question was supposed to be "Do all eukaryotic cells have a nucleus", in which case the answer is no.

Most do, but barely any don't. I do not know which ones do not have a nucleus.

What does a nucleus in a cell do?

A nucleus determins the intake and outtake of materials. It controls all cell activity.

What holds the cells DNA?

Nucleus - holds genomic DNA in eukaryotes. The nucleus is the most conspicuous organelle found in a eukaryotic cell. It houses the cell's chromosomes and is the place where almost all DNA replication and RNA synthesis occur.

What directs all cell activities and houses DNA?

All cells store DNA and direct itself to do cell activities that it normally would do. The nucleus is what stores the DNA and directs cell activities, but it is not a cell. The nucleus is an organelle.

Where is the nucleolus located in the animal cell?

nucleolus is located in almost center of the nucleus in an animal cell
