Proper drivers are not installed
You need to install the drivers for the sound card your computer has installed in it.
The system display is not correct, nothing is happening even if you have changed from the 1024*768 to 768*1024 and vice versa. * Go to the drivers folders(c:\windows\system 32\drivers), select agp440.sys file and rename the file to disable the driver.(select the file and rename to agp440_old . *Go to device manager->expand the display adapter->select the display adapter and choose uninstall from the entry. *Reboot the computer, The driver should be installed automatically soon after reboot. *After driver is installed, go to display settings and change the settings, it will take effect. i have downloaded the drivers and when i attempt to install it says they cant recognize any hardware that it has drivers for. i tried uninstalling the old drivers but it wont let me, saying that i need them to boot up. the vaio website only has drivers from 2006, which i have already installed.

you just need to know how to get drivers for your wireless receiver unless theyr already installed. if they are installed there is something at the bottom right of the taskbar that you can open "wireless networks" connect anyway when you try connecting
You might have to download the drivers of that device. Vista Start Right Click My Computer Properties Device Manager All the things you see that are with a yellow exclamation marks, those are the drivers that need to be installed. They usually already have what they are so you can just look it up.
Either you don`t have Direct X 9 installed,your video drivers are corrupted or you don`t have graphic card in your computer(which is not likely).
