no
The countries you have named all practice representative democracy (oligarchy) as opposed to true democracy.
No for example North Korea does not!
they just have different countries that is all different countries have different type of democracy you know.
All European countries
This is significantly different to the representative democracy practiced in almost all democratic countries today.
No country in the world has 'democracy' if you are referring to a universal franchise for all citizens.
All together they are galled the government =p
There are now 28 countries in the European Union and they are all democratic countries.
South America is a continent. It has lots of countries. There is not a single president for all of those countries. So there is no president of South America.
It depends which countries president you are referring to.
Direct and Indirect One form of democracy is direct democracy in which all citizens vote on every issue. This forum is not feasible for countries (too many people), so countries use indirect democracy, also known as a representative democracy. In this form, the citizens elect representatives who vote on individual issues.
There are no countries that currently function on direct democracy for all issues. However, the idea of direct democracy is used in local refferenda (in places as diverse as California and Switzerland).
