There aren't any breeds of dogs that do not produce allergenic pet dander, though some breeds produce less allergen, and this can vary from dog to dog. For this reason an allergy sufferer should evaluate an individual dog, rather than selecting by breed description alone.

Pomeranians might not be the best option for an allergy suffer looking for a "hypoallergenic" dog, because this breed sheds constantly. While the hair does not trigger a reaction, dander can be transported on hairs.
