There is no average dogs. There are Chihuahuas, there are Hounds, there are Spaniels, there are Great Danes. You can say they are all dogs, but there is not an average weight height, or size. They can range 100lbs.

Probably not. I think that dogs lose weight just the same as we do, so in that case Dogs do NOT lose weight easily. I myself find it quite hard to lose weight but I try. My Staffy, Buster is very bulky but is not fat,so he has no problem at all with his weight. He would not need to because he is healthy and fit, walked every day and fed well.
