Best Answer

NO, most marine engines are now injected, you would find an accelerator pump on a non computerized engine, IE no sensor run abilities at all on the motor.

What is the structure of a marine mammals heart?

Marine mammals, like all other mammals, have a four-chambered heart with a complete divide. The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the veins and pumps it into the right ventricle. The right ventricle pumps it into the pulmonary artery, which delivers it to the lungs, where it is oxygenated. The blood then goes to the the left atrium, which pumps it into the left ventricle. The left ventricle pumps the blood into the aorta, which distributes the blood into smaller arteries all over the body.

Is a marine carburetors different then a car carburetors?

Yes but it is one main thing. On a quadrajet marine the overflow on top in case the float sticks has a tube that goes down into the carburetor intake. An auto one does not have this tube. This tube would cause the engine to flood and stall if the floats stick. That's about it. Of course that is pretty big considering it would just dump gas all over the engine if the float sticks and blow up your boat if that tube was not inserted.

Why won't my 1986 ford f150 6c start without having the gas pedal all the way down even after pumping the pedal?

INJECTORS DO NOT HAVE ACCELERATOR PUMPS ON THEM. The throttle sensor only reads closed or WOT.

Why do you use the carburetors?

Carburetors are used on engines not equipped with fuel injection. Almost all small engines, such as lawnmowers, generators, and other small engine applications use carburetors. Carburetors are used to mix fuel and air in the proper ratio and channel it to the intake manifold of the engine. It is then sucked into each cylinder where the fuel air mixture is burned.

Did all 1979 beetles come with fuel injection or did some have carburetors?

Why are carburetors still used in drag cars and muscle cars?

Carburetors provide a perfect, stable fuel/air mixture at full throttle. Decades of development have gone into fuel jets, intake manifolds and all the other details required for carburetors in high performance engines. And tweaking them can be achieved with simple mechanical changes. The usual advantages of fuel injection don't apply here: cold weather starting, dynamic adjustment of parameters while driving.Eventually, fuel injection will replace carburetors as a new generation of mechanics come of age who are more comfortable changing computer settings. But it will take them years to invent all the tricks that the current top fuel mechanics already have for their carburetors.

Do all shallow well jet pumps use a venturi tube?

All shallow well jet pumps use an ejector (or jet), which consists of a nozzle and venturi tube. Centrifugal pumps on the other hand are also shallow well pumps without a jet.

What is the carburetor of a automobile?

Carburetors are no longer used on modern vehicles. It is a device that mixes the fuel and air mixture to the optimum mix of 14.7 to 1 and routes it to all cylinders by way of an intake manifold. It controls your speed by allowing more or less air into the carburetor by way of a butterfly valve controlled by the accelerator pedal. The more air the more vacuum is created and the more fuel is drawn in.

What pumps the blood out of the heart?

The heart is a muscle, but it is NOT in the muscular system, and pumps blood to all parts of the body :)
