No, i just got my braces on 5 weeks ago. The orthodontist i went to gave me colors but she told me that if you are getting metal braces then you usually can get colors. Trust me, it doesnt't hurt AT ALL!!! I am a scardey cat and after i got them on i laughed at myself because i felt so stupid to be scared. usually they will let you pick 1-2 colors. Have fun and don't worry about it!!!

∙ 12y agoBy braces do you mean brackets or rubber bands? you can get either metal or clear brackets. But on top of the brackets you can get different colored rubber bands. So yeah, you can get different colored braces.
