To the best of my knowledge there should be sufficient iodine in the sea salt you use to make the sea water without adding more.
I don't know if theres a medicine for it but you get it because you don't have enough iodine in you diet. Iodine is in salt water fish and shellfish. They also put it in salt.

You put this in care of fish so i assume that you are trying to put it in your aquarium and I say do not do this. Table salt contains iodine which is poison to fish. I recommend using marine salt for any aquarium purposes. But it will dissolve
