A "private server" is an unauthorized rip-off of RuneScape. It will be completely independent of RuneScape; anything you do there will not affect your character in the official RuneScape game. You should be careful not to use your RuneScape username and password in any site not affiliated with Jagex (the owners of RuneScape), since there are several sites out there that have been created exclusively to steal user accounts.
every server is different but it may work, first go where ure friends list is and next to ure friends list on some blank spot. click it and the ancient spellbook will appear. but it may not tho. cause u may have a server where the owner didnt put ancients on the server. My server ip is 58.22.101.138 and at that server there is ancients spells. The ancients spells do not affect monsters. but only players u need 99 mage for it to do extreme damage and at low levels it may not even affect anyone. 82 mage is where the spells start to affect people
