Being of not all creatures underwater are not fish, yes. For example a dolphin, or a shark. Fish are classified as "Tetrapod's".
Yes, Salmon do have fins and scales like most fish (although som fish, like catfish, do not have scales). I have never heard of a fish without fins, although eels have less fins than many other fish. The scales tend to be small and most fish vendors will sell salmon fillets with the skin and scales still on (although some people think the scales are unpleasant).

The clownfish have more rounded fins than other anemone fish and this makes it a slower swimmer. But, these fins enable the fish to make quick darting movements. Clownfish are immune to the anemone sting, because of a mucus they have. This gives them a place to hide from predators.

cartilage fish have paird fins and jaws and they have bones. jawless fish have no paired fins and jaws and they have no bone Cartilage fish = sharks and rays Jawless fish = hagfish and lampre
It depends on what kind of fish is nipping his fins. If it's another angelfish that is larger than him, i would move him to another tank, and feed him extra, until they are the same size. i breed angelfish and have had to do this several times. if it's some other fish, such as tetras or tiger barbs, the best thing you can do is move one or the other. Angel fish can't really be kept with tetras or barbs, because the barbs think that the angelfish's fins look tasty. the angelfish will be much happier without the offending fish.
Fishes have gills when the water is moving on the gills than fish breaths and take oxygen from water.
their fins and other physical features are thinned, unlike humans. Humans, in comparison to fish, have much bulkier limbs than fish. Water is able to move/glide past the fish body parts easier.
Birds, fish, and other animals bigger than itself.

Your betta fish is a female if she has smaller fins than an average male.
