u dont know that they might like chalk
hurry up and answer
The effect the chalk has on ants is that it can penetrate their skin and dehydrate them. Chalk can slowly kill an ant.
Ants cannot cross breed. Ants will only breed with other ants of the same species. They will not cross bread with other types of insects.
One use is to deter ants...like around a picnic table, your child's patio furniture, or your pet's food and water containers. Draw a line around where you would like to prevent ants crawling, and they should not cross it. Also, should work if you use talc powder.
A mixture of sugar and boric acid spread around the tree gets rid of ants. A circle drawn in chalk around the trees also gets rid of ants as they do not cross the line. Hot water poured down the ant hills near the tree will also get rid of them.
The ants can't cross the line of powder.
maybe a elephant are something
An ant can not climb or cross the path of chalk. The ant can not climb an adhesive either.
It depends on the species. Most caterpillars are herbivores however, there are some species which are carnivorous (one, the chalk hill blue, feeds on ants)
Talcum powder, an ingredient in both chalk and baby powder, is a natural ant repellent. Just be careful if you decide to use it: some studies have linked talc to cancer.
