depends on the model
Yes you can direct swap
you probubly have a bad clutch or cv shaft
Back into parking spaces. How with no reverse??????? Try again
kind of a touchy motor, if in tip top shape and a 5spd manual. get up 23mpg with the 3.0v6.
I had a 5spd 4 cyl 92 and i had the speedo showing 220, but in reality its prolly less.
Dextron III. standard or automatic. In a manual tranny you can get away with gear oil, but it is not correct. That is for rear ends on rear wheel drives. Some people use 1 quart of oil and fill the rest Dextron III, claiming better gear protection, but no proof on that. Best to use the Toyota recommended Dex III -better fuel economy. Dex II and III are the same....II is just the new version. -That's in case you look at an old Toyota Service Manual like mine for 1987. Cheers!

Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. The transmission won't likely be able to handle the increased torque output of the 350.
the best ive ever found and had was my dubed out 1986 toyota corolla 5spd it got 56 mpg high way and 52 city
The engine oil capacity for the 1992 2.3L is 5 quarts (includes filter).
Should be towards the back of the motor youll see a red loop. I'm assuming of course this is an automatic (Dont ask--I had someone try to tell me that my old 92 S10 w/ a 5spd std trans- had a tranny dipstick)
Automatic- 727 TCI 6spd automatic powerglide Manual- A833 4spd Keisler/tremec TKO 5spd Richmond 5spd or 6spd
