Hi, You can buy any LCD, almost all LCD panel are made by sharp even for Sony. What you should look at the features like Refresh rate (should be less than 4ms), multi connectiors (more usb, usb divx, bluetooth etc). The price should be the base for the decision. regards
More than likely there isn't any connections, if your tv has a USB port, you can power USB fans I think.
