Some Microsoft programs work on Macs. If you have an old Mac, it will most likely not work. You need to have new and updated Macs. You also need to make sure you buy a Microsoft program that works with Macs.
The compatability of apps and Macs depends on how old either is. Apple keeps compatability for several years, but at some point the old apps simply won't run on the newest Macs. This is a moving timeline. There is not easy answer except that all new apps require an Intel CPU. But some apps reguire a 32 or 64 bit processor, so even if you have a fairly new Mac, it may not run all the newest apps that you think could/should run on it. There is a site called oldapps.com where you can find some version of new apps that will work on older machines. Check the system requirements and good luck!

On most macs, it is not possible to rename apps.
Either you have the app on your Macintosh Install Disk or you will need to download it from the Apple website. If you remember it is used to create apps such as widgets for Macs or apps for iPhone and Apple is picky who gets their apps on the real download page.

Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and higher will only work on Macs with an Intel processor not on earlier Power PC Macs. Some install discs supplied with a particular line of Macs will not work on other Macs. So to answer the question... No.
In my opinion, Apple makes the best routers for Macs.
sorry it will never work on a mac
Sometimes apps do not work. I have had plenty of apps not work for me.
