Yes.
The solar system is a collection of planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and other objects that orbit around the Sun due to its gravitational pull. It includes eight planets, such as Earth and Mars, as well as their moons, and the dwarf planet Pluto.
There are many different kinds of objects that orbit the sun. There are planets and the asteroids as well as comets and other smaller bits of debris.
Other heavenly bodies in the solar system include planets like Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, as well as their moons. Additionally, there are dwarf planets like Pluto, asteroids, comets, and the Kuiper Belt objects that make up our solar system.
The Sun has 8 major planets orbiting it, as well as asteroids, meteoroids and comets. However, it can never have a moon because moons are objects that orbit a planet, not a star, like the sun.
Our Sun is a Star and the Earth is part of it's "system" - eg Solar System. Our Sun is in the Milky Way so the Earth is as well (along with all the other planets, meteors, comets, asteroids and other stellar stuff).
well they do land in the planets but they dont HIT like PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH THERE NO they LAND ON THE PLANETS:)
well some planets are bigger than the earth but from the inside earth is of course bigger than all of the other planets
Dwarf Planets actually orbit the Sun on an orbital path. Unlike Asteroids they have a moon as well. Asteroids usually stay in a belt like the one between Mars and Jupiter. Yet not all Asteroids are in the belt some of them are close to Earth. This type of Asteroid is called a NEO. (Near Earth Object). Asteroids don't orbit the Sun like planets do in their orbital paths. Asteroids tend to go in anyway they want. Just a simple push from another object if not already heading for Earth can push an Asteroid on a different course which could also be a danger to Earth itself. Asteroids also contain life supporting elements and materials that we could mine out of them which NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), other government's, and even privet company's are trying to find a way to do so. If we can mine Asteroids we could just be able to get to Mars very soon.
No, the sun does not have satellites. Satellites are objects that orbit around a celestial body, like Earth, whereas the sun is a star at the center of our solar system. The planets, including Earth, orbit around the sun.
Earth has launched over 100 space probes since the 1950s. These probes have been sent to study planets, moons, asteroids, and other bodies in our solar system, as well as to explore deep space beyond.
Well, they look like a big belt of asteroids circling around planets or galaxy.
The Solar System is a collection of planets, moons, comets, asteroids, and other objects that orbit the Sun. It includes eight main planets, such as Earth, Mars, and Jupiter, as well as various smaller bodies. The Solar System formed about 4.6 billion years ago from a giant cloud of gas and dust.
