Without doing any research, my guess is no. Since I think we remember our dreams as "visual" experiences and there is no light within the womb, how could the baby possibly be dreaming? We are told that REM sleep involves dreaming. Maybe it involves something more than that like emotion, pleasure, or discomfort.

Answer:

Yes, it is very possible that fetuses dream before birth. Neuro-scans of late term unborn babies show that they go through regular cycles of sleeping and waking while in the womb, including periods of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep. Because dreams are not limited to visual images, but include all types of sensation including hearing and bodily motion, it is not unreasonable to expect that at some point in gestation, perhaps late in the third trimester, a fetus might dream of sounds and other impressions. Moreover, once visual organs are well-developed there is no reason to assume that the unborn child would not be aware of changing lights and shadows. See the link below for further information.

Do Kangaroons give live birth?

Yes but the kangaroo babies are so small (maybe not even an inch long) and helpless that they have to suckle the mother's milk for a long time (protected in the pouch) before they move about on their own.

What does it mean when you dream about being pregnant and the baby dies before giving birth?

If the dreamer is confident that actual pregnancy is not a possibility, then the dream is about an idea, project, task or even possibly a relationship that the dreamer had in the process of development. This project was canceled or ended in some way before it was completed. See attached link for more examples and explanation of pregnancy dreams.

How many babies do Guineapigs have?

On average a guinea pig will give birth to 2-3 babies. Be aware that one or more may be born dead or with a deformity. They may even be trampled after they are born. Sometimes they give birth to 4-5 which isn't that common. 6-7 is very rare and there have been a few cases where they gave birth to eight! Super rare. However there is not a big chance that all eight will be born alive and will not be killed afterwards. And even if, it is impossible for all of them to be born normal; after all, a human having eight babies just recently happened, and it was the first.

What noises do guinea pig make before birth?
