Are you dumb or what? Of course not all bacteria produce urease. Most bacteria that produce urease are bacteria that are in the stomach or intestine where there is present of high gastric acidity. This urease will serve as a function to reduce the acidity and increase towards a neutral PH so that the bacteria could survive in the intestine. Otherwise without the urease, the high acidity would normally kill the bacteria.

Which type of organism is used is used to produce enzymes used in home and industry?

Microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, are commonly used to produce enzymes for use in home and industry. These organisms are chosen for their ability to efficiently produce specific enzymes through biotechnological processes like fermentation.

Are bacteria a source of restriction enzymes in DNA?

Restriction enzymes are made by the ribosomes in bacteria. For information on which bacteria produce which specific restriction enzymes, some can be found in a table near the bottom of this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restriction_enzymes

What do bacteria produce?

"Bacteria producing bacteria" - this is not a specific type of bacteria, as you might say a dog is a specific type of animal. All bacteria reproduce, and form new bacteria through a process usually called binary fission. In this way, each bacteria produces more new bacteria. It is not a trait of one species of bacteria.

What is source of enzyme in fermentation reaction?

The source of enzymes in fermentation reactions are typically microorganisms like bacteria, yeast, or fungi. These organisms produce enzymes that facilitate the conversion of substrates into desired products during fermentation processes.

What are two effective uses of bacteria in the pharmaceutical world?

Bacteria are used in pharmaceuticals for producing antibiotics, such as penicillin, which combat bacterial infections. They are also used in genetic engineering to produce proteins and enzymes for therapeutic purposes, like insulin production for diabetes treatment.

Are bacteria able to digest agar?

Most bacteria are not able to digest agar directly because they lack the enzymes required to break down the complex sugars in agar. However, some bacteria, such as certain species of marine bacteria, have the ability to produce enzymes that can degrade agar into simpler sugars that they can then metabolize.
