After 10 years I can tell you. Some do and those that do do it very rarely. I've owned 2 beardies for 5 years and I've seen it once when they got into a spat. Then I looked it up and there are some anecdotes of other people seeing the same thing, but very rarely.
Which is good as its defensive behaviour and apperently few beardies are in situations that warrant such behaviour
no but if the beardie is not done growing the tail will grow with the rest of the body but the part that was lost will never grow back
Yes they do but there are few species of geckos that do not, such as the crested gecko. (Rhacodactylus Cilatus)
No that is most geckos, they use claws, and skin around their neck (their beard)
no a friend of mine has two bearded dragons and they can not get rid of their tails
NO their NOT like geckos
they dont have tail....
yes,but only a few geckos can do that.
bearded dragons grow as they get older.......kind of like every thing else
They usually grow to around 20 inches
They need about 18 inches from front to back, and about 1.5 metres from left to right. The more space they have, the bigger they will get.
Yes, they sometimes lose their teeth as well. Though at times they may never grow back. Good luck!
Mice cannot grow back their limbs.
bearded dragons are the closest animal to a dog . they are very smart and friendly. most people think they grow big so they are bad pets but worth the money!
No, do you really think if people could grow back limbs, there would be people who are missing limbs? Like someone in a wheelchair with missing legs? There are some animals (not mammals) that can grow back limbs though.
they can and they will
No it will not grow back. Dogs do not have the ability to regrow limbs.

Well, in one way, NO. A bearded dragon cannot control it's own growth rate. However, the cool thing is, YOU can. A bearded dragon will grow in size according to the size of the cage it's in. In simple terms, The bigger the cage, the bigger the lizard will get. however, you must give it at least a ten-gallon tank to live in from the time of it's birth, for most bearded dragons grow to be at least a foot long.
Adult bearded dragons average 15" to 17" in length, though there are reports of large males reaching up to 23".
