No, most species of birds will not eat gum.despite what several urban legends say about birds mistaking gum for bread, most birds aresmart enough to tell the difference, however you might see a bird pick up gum for use in their nest.
no
If a bird is to eat a piece of gum, the gum will remain in the digestive track and stomach and absorb the nutrients as well as the water that's consumed, and will eventually contribute to the bird's death.
the first to eat gum was god
no
I've heard both yes and no. Some say that yes it can kill a bird because it could choke them. There is also the rumour going around that says if a bird does eat gum it can stop them from digesting anything else and cause them to slowly starve, however there isn't any proof in this yet. Others say no because gum has ingredients that is used in repellent for birds so why would they be attracted to it. There are even some who say that bird's have sometimes used gum to build nests. So who knows maybe it can and maybe it can't. It might even depend on what type of bird. I've seen a seagull swoop down and try to eat a piece of chewed gum before spitting it back out. I have many friends from Greece. They have told me stories of their childhood and one in particular is of the birds who eat the gum from the gum trees that grow abundantly in Greece and yes they use it for nests and play.
the same reason humans cant eat gum
From what we do at my school, yes in fact. Same with Trident gum wrappers, my friends have told me it adds to the gum. I wouldn't recommend it... but yes you can eat it. It gives more gum.
You can eat chewing gum it won't kill you if you eat it, it will pass through your digestive system.
Birds peck holes in Sweet Gum trees because they are looking for food. The bark of the Sweet Gum is soft making it easy to peck while looking for small insects.
