In my opinion the best type of dog used for specialty squads like bomb squads and so on, are called Springer Spaniels. BTW: Through my opinion and research over the internet, i have not seen any results of labradors being used for specialty groups/squads in anyway, it is just they are not as good as Springer Spaniels as they are good at searching for items and finding things out.
