I had a border collie as a kid. My Dad picked the most quiet one, but not so shy it did not come to him. I imagine collies have to be quiet sometimes so not to scare any animals they are herding. They are working animals.
I'm assuming your border collie is the typical black and white coloration. If that is the case, then, no matter what color the other dog is, most if not all of the pups should be black and white, black being the dominant color. The puppies will probably be smaller than rough collies, without the long "collie nose." My guess is that some will have longer coats than the others. Since the average border collie litter is 8, and a rough collie litter is usually between 6 and 10, you can expect 8 or 9 little ones.
I've had 2 border collie crosses. Both have been very clever as pups. My present collie cross was stopping at roads and waiting for the command to cross when she was only 4 months old. They also dont have the fixations that pure breds have.
Your pups do not grow up in WolfQuest.nono
It should not be done purposely, but if it did happen, the female Jack Russell would have to have a C-section to be able to have the pups ... they would be too big to birth naturally. It would also be dangerous for her to be pregnant with pups of a much larger dog, but if she were to get pregnant with only a few instead of several, she might be OK. The pups would be medium-sized dogs ... not as small at the JR, and not as large as the collie. Anyway, because of the danger involved to the mother and subsequent pups, purposeful breeding between these two should never be done.
To buy a border collie pup in Jakarta, you'll need to find a breeder. The best way to do this is to ask a local veterinarian for a reference. You can also attend dog shows and herding events to locate other people with border collies, who may have pups to sell.
