Some breeds are highly territorial and get along with others with difficulty, but raised together as pups, or adult dog and pup, usually most dogs actually do get along very well. Two adult dogs of hypersensitive breeds (Pekinese, spaniels, pincers, huskies, as well as many others) usually need more time to get to know one another well, but once they do tend to get along well.
