Yes it is very possible that this would happen unless the person got help.
They may feel like they are putting on weight after they recover because this happens if you have bulimia, you put weight on easily and so out of guilt they may turn to not eating it is all psycholgical so it depends really :P
hope that helped
Anorexics tned to use whatever laxative they wish. Usually, it is anything that is readiy available to them and not too expensive. Anorexics also use less laxatives than other eating disorders (like bulimia) do, too.
Yes, as a recovering anorexic, I was diagnosed by a specialist with anorexia nervosa with bulimic symptoms. Both anorexia & bulimia get worse if left untreated, eventually leading to cardiac arrest and/or multiple organ failure. Some examples of this are Christy Henrich, Karen Carpenter & Sheena Carpenter. If you think you have an eating disorder it is IMPORTANT that you seek Phsycological help, ASAP! Absolutely. They can both lead to death if left untreated.
Anorexics tend to avoid foods that are high in caloires and fats. This often involves most desserts and dairy products, along with some carbs.
Most of the time bulimia starts with anorexia, but then maybe they go to somewhere with a lot of food and they lose control and binge. To get rid of the calories they purge an then this becomes an addiction. Bulimia is much more common than anorexia because not all bulimics have anorexia, but most anorexics have bulimic tendencies.
Only if they don't throw it up first.---EDIT by others: Throwing up would be bulimia, not anorexia. They would probably defecate (poop), but very little.
They use it as a coping method of something that is or has gone wrong in there life like: relationship breakdown, death, abuse etc.. But in general you cant 'get' bulimia.
Most anorexics are diagnosed by pediatricians or family practitioners
It's not an eating disorder 'caused by', but rather 'classified by' and it is known as Bulimia Nervosa. Google it.
Anorexics are never healthy, you need food to be healthy.
Most anorexics consume 600-800 calories a day.
Most anorexics deny that they are ill and are usually brought to treatment by a family member
Anorexics are underweight according to their BMI and if are female have lost their period. Bulimics binge and purge (consume large amounts of food then over exercise, vomit or abuse laxatives to compensate)and may be underweight, a normal weight or overweight. Both have irrational fear of food or gaining weight and have a warped idea of their own weight. Some anorexics binge and purge as well, but are underweight so are diagnosed anorexic.
