History courses were not part of the core business requirements for my business degree however any four year degree requires a certain amount of general education classes. History courses are usually an option that will satisfy some G.E. requirements. So business majors may not be required to take history but chances are history maybe the lessor evil to satisfy a particular G.E. requirement.
This all depends on the colleges that offer these majors. Some types of math majors I know are:Applied Math - take math courses that have some applications to real life.Pure Math Majors - take math courses, in which the content doesn't rely a lot of on the application of math. Instead, students study the aspects of how math is created.(In some universities) Education Math Majors - usually take some math courses and some physics and computer science courses. They need to take some education courses, based on their goals.
Basic accounting is a requirement for all business majors.
Taking business courses are generally required when you are focusing on a business degree. These courses will help you gain perspective about your organization's processes.
Take a normal selection of college preparatory classes. Law schools do not look for particular courses in your secondary school education (or to a significant extent in your college courses, either). Law schools do not take only history and political science majors or students drawn from similar "pre-law" curricula. While those provide an excellent background, there are many law students with degrees in business, engineering and the fine arts. Take courses that are challenging and that are interesting to you. Your chances of getting into law school will be better if you get A's and B's in getting a business degree than if you get B's and C's and get a history degree.

You do not need any degree to be a stockbroker. There are training courses at some firms that you have to take and tests that need to be passed. Business or economics courses are also helpful.
The requirement also includes courses in the humanities. History is a humanities course however not required. Students can choose other courses from the humanities lists.
