No
Yes. As originally equipped, all new cars are equipped with a "safety spare," a light-weight spare tire that will get you to the nearest garage or dealership.
7 of them !
In most cars the battery is in front of the engine. In some cars, it is beneath the truck sometimes with the spare tire.
Some BMW's are fitted with 'run-flat' tires. If it is, it is not provide/sold with a spare tire because the 'run-flats' will allow you to do 90 miles on a flat and this will be enough to allow you to drive to a garage and have the tire replaced (they can not be mended). In other words your BMW may not have a spare tire.
Mini spares used in many cars for the spare tire. A smaller diameter tire that is narrow and harder than the regular tire.
It is not illegal. Some cars do not have spare tires nor a place to store a spare. Example would be a new Corvette.
It depends on your definition of a hood. Subarus used to have a spare under the hood in the engine compartment and air cooled VWs had a spare under the hood in the front. Older Porsches had a spare in the rear behind the engine in some cars that were mid engined.
As of today, aside from it being an option in the the E70 X5, no.
Where is the spare tire
Hey Dummy, Didn't you know that after 2006, BMW did not include a spare tire, jack, and lug wrench since the cars had run-flat tires as original equipment. You just need to get a spare tire and jack since you can use your head as the wrench (lug nut head).
the spare tire is under the hood
