to me, it will depend on the gender. For example, if 2 male cats shared a bed, it wouldn't go well.... Unless they knew each other before hand. Also, if u got a new cat, and you already have a cat, it wouldn't work well with sharing beds since the cat that already lives there is the alpha male to the new cat.
