Yes. Chickens love earwigs and will scratch around damp areas around the house to find them. If you have an earwig problem, wet some newspaper and put it near the basement wall of your house at night and when the chickens go out to forage in the morning they will soon learn to run to the paper and scratch around eating the earwigs as they scurry away.

Chickens LOVE grasshoppers! If you have the chickens on pasture, it's a lot of fun to watch them run and hop after the grasshoppers in August and September. One way to reduce the cost of supplemental a chicken's diet is to provide a low hanging light at night during the summer months. Those birds just love eating those flying critters and whatever else is drawn to the light.

Yes. A bug is a bug as far as a chicken is concerned. Fire flies are active during the later part of the day (snack) and early morning (breakfast) and are susceptible to being eaten. Fire flies do their best work at night however, when the chickens are roosting. Chickens don't see well in the dark and are usually in the roost by the time the fire flies are twinkling.
