no nothey hate dogs!
Yes, chickens can eat grapes! Some chickens love them! Chickens will eat most fruit. Grapes are one of their favourite treats in the fall of the year.
yes, they drop eggs and eggs are like seeds so then a chicken is a fruit
They are not. Chickens can eat raisins, grapes and almost any type of fruit, dried or fresh.
Yes, but only mushy ones.
Chickens love fruit of all kinds. Pears will be gobbled up provided they are ripe. Hard pears would need to be crushed so the birds will recognize them as food. In the fall, chickens will go under apple, pear and just about any fruit tree to feast on fallen fruit and the insects they attract.
Yes, there are very few foods chickens do not eat and enjoy. Raw potato peels are not good for them but fine if cooked. All fruits are good but rhubarb and tomato leaves can be toxic (to both chickens and humans). Basically, anything from your table as far as food scraps is fine for chickens. I feed my chickens all the scraps from the kitchen. They are cannibals. I have found they don't like onions. I give them all my peels from vegetables to fruit....
yes they can. chickens LOVE strawberries. like me!
Pears are not suitable feed for chickens as a primary food source. While chickens can eat small amounts of fruit, including pears, they should primarily be fed a balanced diet formulated for poultry. Too much fruit can lead to digestive issues and an imbalance in their diet. Always ensure that any treats, including pears, are given in moderation.
Alabama produces the most broiler chickens and cattle.
No. They will eat any remaining fruit and leave the rest. It is nutritious and entertaining for them.
My chickens love apple cores with seeds. In fact, my fenced in chicken run is also my orchard. To reduce the number of insects attracted to felled fruit, and to clean up the fruit that does fall, I put my chickens to work. They will eat any and all the fruit and it benefits them nutritionally. If you are concerned about arsenic in apple seeds, consider that there is arsenic naturally in the ground, and because of that there is arsenic in the plants raised in that soil.
chickens will eat just about anything. they do not like big leaves and mostly like to eat bugs and grass. they often dig holes in the gound. if fruit falls on the ground the ckickns will eat it but if it is higher than their head they will not see it. their manure is very good for the ground and their very nice animals to have around.
