Because they have a huge impact and pay for the government.If a government made them pay the correct amount then they would move their business elsewhere, as many companies do today. Google, Apple, Starbucks, Amazon are some companies that take advantage of tax rules that are more advantageous to the company. They are NOT breaking any laws. They wish to pay less tax. The governments made the rules, not the companies.
