To measure an insole, remove it from the shoe and place it on a flat surface. Use a ruler to measure the length from the tip of the insole to the heel, and the width from the widest part of the insole. Record these measurements in either inches or centimeters.

You can take them out by simply putting your thumb on the opening and taking your other hand and snatching the other side up but they are supposed to remain on the Converse shoes to show that they are actually real. If they still give you trouble use a petroleum solvent spot remover and pour that into the shoe and let it soak through the insole to dissolve the glue
