Coyotes tend to travel in packs of 3-6 related coyotes, but often hunt on their own. If there was a coyote attack, it is often 1 coyote. Through they stay in the same area, it is not like a wolf pack. However, it is not rare to see them together.

not neccisarily on the eastern coast where i am coyotes in the local area work in packs to kill larger pray for example deer

if they find a larger animal dead lik a deer or cow they will call the other coyotes to the spo then they can all eat

but if they are killing animals like groundhogs opposums raccoons or tukeys they will hunt as one

if u kill a smaller animal lik the ones listed abov a coyote will pik it up and carry it away in the wi nter it will eat it for itself but in summer and spring they will shar with ther pupz
