My certainly does all the time but mostly at night before i feed him.
Betta fish are quite adept jumpers. In the wild, during drought season, their survival often depends on them "jumping" from puddle to puddle to find one that's large and clean with food. It's always best to keep a lid on a betta tank. Even a piece of breatheable cloth secured with a rubber band works just fine.
Yes they will.
Crowntail, Veitail, and Halfmoons.
A crowntail is a beta fish with a teardrop-shaped fan tail. The tail of a crowntail beta distinguishes it from other betas. The crowntail is a Siamese fighting fish that grows to 1.5-inches in length.
A Crowntail Betta Splendens is a variant of Splendens that has parted fins in a way that makes them look appealing. it is simply something you must look up on google images to get the right answer Fightn' Fact: There isn't only one Betta. Betta is an entire Genus of fish that qualify for certain specimens of fish. The fish you are talking about is betta splendens
No. They need very different water parameters.
Male crowntail bettas have the large finns commonly associated with the betta fish with a small difference in the edges of the tail. Females have very very short fins with the crowntail edges
Yes, Betta fish can jump. You can teach them to jump by placing a small amount of food on your finger and when your betta fish is ready, it will jump and take the food off your finger! :)
They would not fight anyway. Male Bettas will only fight with male Bettas. The Convict Cichlid is a much larger fish than the Betta and has a much larger mouth in proportion too than the Betta so I would assume that if they were to fight the Betta would not stand a chance.
I think so
it dose not show me the thing it is a rip off
no. Bettas are to be kept separate, unless they're all female and you give them plenty of territorial space. Beta+ other beta= fight/death/severely injured sick fish
First of all, they're BOTH bettas. 2. if they're both males that's just animal cruelty. Some people....
