It depends on whether the doctor is pro-life, or pro-choice. Stem cell research does not have to kill a baby though., like many people believe it does. Stem cell research is a great thing, when it doesn't involve taking someone's life (in my opinion).
they are bad because all cells have souls yeh man
There are five basic stem cells classifications there is embryonic stem cells, fetal stem cells. There are the Umbilical cord stem cells, placenta stem cells, and lastly there are adult stem cells.
There are 2 type of stem cells * embryonic stem cells * and adult stem cells fetal stem cells are grouped into the adult stem cell category
Stem cells are cells that have not specialised. Specialist cells can only be the one thing that they are specialised for; ie, you cannot turn skin cells into a heart, or liver cells into a brain. Stem cells have not specialised and can therefore become any type of cell. I am not sure how they are stimulated to become one kind or another, but they can. Adult stem cells are not as good as embryonic stem cells, but because harvesting embryonic stem cells requires the destruction of a human embryo it is banned in many countries.
Three types of stem cells in adults are hematopoietic stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, and neural stem cells.
Present research indicates that adult stem cells are just as good as embryonic.

Stem cells replace damaged tissue with new healthy tissue. This is the absolutely most basic description of why they are so important for the future of medicine. In the future, stem cells will cure hearing loss, vision loss, spinal injury, diabetes, alzheimer's, knee problems, etc., etc., because of replacing tissue in the body that has transformed into "bad" cells from damage or cancer. That is how cancer originates. Cancer orginates from "good" cells turning into 'out-of-control' bad cells. Defeat the unhealthy cells, and replace with new healthy cells. That is what stem cell regeneration will do.

They are called stem cells.

Stem cells are cells that are able to divide continuously without specializing. These kind of cells are undifferentiated biological cells.
There are three different types of tissue stem cells in the body. They include the tissue stem cells also known as adult stem cells, embryonic stem cells, and induced pluripotent stem cells.
Multipotent stem cells
