Of course doctors and nurses give wrong answers and do wrong actions, at the wrong time, in the wrong order and even do completely wrong procedures (wrong site, wrong side, wrong person, etc.). These wrongs are why medical professionals have malpractice insurance, in case the wrong done was severe or caused harm. Most good doctors and nurses will admit "I don't know the answer" -- which is perfectly okay because no one knows everything. They can/should then go find the answer, or refer you to someone who does know (example: a specialist).
NOTE: Not all wrongs or wrong answers are serious enough to warrant a lawsuit, especially if it did not cause damage/harm to the patient. "It could / might have harmed me" is not enough for a lawsuit.
