Best Answer

Yes, dogs lose their baby teeth when they are puppies just like human children do. They aren't supposed to lose adult teeth, but sometimes it happens due to tooth decay or having them knocked out.

Dogs, like humans, will shed their childhood teeth and grow a new adult set.

If you have an older dog, it's probably not normal for it to be losing teeth.

If you have a puppy that's losing teeth, it might enjoy chewing on ice cubes or rubber dog toys that have been kept in the freezer. (This would help aid the soreness of teething.)

Yes. Dogs loose their teeth just like humans do. So if your dog has a loose tooth, don't worry about it! (It will grow back, too).
