the fact about duck eggs are that it take about 28 day to hatch.
I got day old Runner ducks back in July and by January of this year, they had started laying about an egg a day. I have 10 ducks and generally get between 7-10 eggs per day, so sometimes some of them do not lay every day. Good luck!@
depends on the type of duck, Cambels and Runners are known to lay an egg a day
Most ducks will stay on the nest and incubate their eggs for 27 days. They will not start incubating until the last egg has been laid, usually laying one egg per day.

1.75 ducks = 1.75 eggs / 1.75 days ===> 1 duck = 1 egg / 1.75 days.1 week = 7 days = 7/1.75 = 4 egg periods ===> 1 duck = 4 eggs / week.(7 ducks) x (4 eggs per duck per week) = 28 eggs / week.

No, they stay on the eggs for most of the day but they get up in order to feed.
Duck eggs can survive for hours without the mother. Sometimes, mother ducks will leave the nest to find food, then come back to lay another egg and incubate the nest. As long as she regularly warms the eggs, she doesn't have to stay with them all the time.
