It does for me. I get gas, diarrhea, cramps, etc after eating Cheerios or any generic brand. At first I had a lot of trouble with only the Honey-Nut Cheerios, and switched to plain, which seemed OK for a while, but those too have become an issue. From what I've been reading online, a lot of people experience the same thing.
I thought, like so many others who were experiencing problems, that it was a lactose intolerance, and I tried taking Beano and switched to soy milk, but the problems persisted. It wasn't until I tried either not eating cereal or a different cereal that the problem became apparent.
I'm assuming it's either oat related, or gluten in general. So far I haven't found any discussion online which really nails it down, but rest assured, you're not the only one experiencing this issue.

It is my opinion that Cheerios taste like ice cream cones (cake cones, not sugar cones). Try eating Cheerios with ice cream and you'll see what I mean. - Anthony L.
