Emo was A Genre before it was a Label And/Or A way of life, when A Band is called Emo, It would only be because of the style of their Music. Some Bands may Cut, but that's just up to them. Examples of "Emo" Bands; Hawthorne Heights, Fugazi, My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Automatic LoveLetter, Mest. Etc.. Not all of these bands neccessarily Cut, but their Music is Emo, As a Genre :P. =)
