No, it's the male that has the long fins
Easily. The males have the long colorful fins. The females have short fins.
Male Betta fish will attract a female by flaring and showing off their long flowing fins.
Female Betta fish typically have shorter fins compared to males, with their fins usually ranging from 1 to 2 inches in length. Their fins are more rounded and less elaborate than the long, flowing fins of male Bettas. The fin length can vary depending on the individual fish and its specific strain or breed. Overall, female Bettas are characterized by a more compact and streamlined appearance.
the females has shorter fins than the males. but you have to make sure they are between 3 to 4 months old. or they both will look the same. the males are much nicer because of there long fins.
yes because the female will get killed if they fought a male fish. I know someone who has two female Betta fish and they are in the same bowl i thought they would fight as a result they don't fight they play tag and other games.NEVER EVER PUT TWO MALES INTO A FISH BOWL TOGETHER AND NEVER PUT A FEMALE WITH A MALE TOGETHER BECAUSE THEY WILL KILL EACH OTHER.
The males have long flowing fins and the females have short fins. The males are the "pretty ones" and the ones that are most commonly sold in pet stores.

Although I'm not sure what you mean by "deep" body, Betta fish, or Siamese Fighting Fish, or Rumble Fish (if you're S.E. Hinton) are thin, brightly-colored (domestically bred males tend to be more colorful), and have long, wavy fins.
It all depends on the length of the fins. If its long its a male if its short its usually a females the exotic colors can help you tell as well. This is for any kind of fish, but mostly for Japense fighting fish and Feeder fish. if you have any other qustions you can contact me at, holly.mello@yahoo.com
Well there are lots of types of fins for betta fish. my betta fish has a long stringy tail and fins, but my female has short average fins. most have plain fins. mine is the only one i have seen in my area with a stringy tail. most fish have stringy tails if they are sick but not mine he was bred to be like that. depending on the fish and the area well there are lots of things that are considered normal for bettas.
By how long the two string like fins are than hang down from the body of the fish. I have been told that the shorter they are, they are female.
Males have much more "Exciting" fins -- flowy and dramatic, and very brightly colored. The female is smaller, with much more modest fins, usually not as brightly colored.and they aer brighter and that is how you tellMales have long, flowing fins and are bright colors. The females have short fins and are usually dull colors. Also, sometimes the female is smaller.
