Best Answer

Every living organism reproduces in some way. Female fish generally lay their eggs before they are fertilized. The males then either deposit their sperm directly onto the eggs, though in a number of species, the males will deposit their sperm collectively into the water near the eggs, thus fertilizing whichever eggs the sperm comes in contact with.

Why can fish no longer be considered a renewable resource on Canada's coasts?

mainly because we over fished the seas and there isn't much fish left in it nor do we really give fish a chance to reproduce themselves we just take them out of the water. So fishes don't reproduce and they don't renew what is lost or what we took away
