Well, Their legs are week, so it takes 10 to maby an hour for them to stand!!
Hope I helped!!
After birth, foals can stand within a range from 45 minutes to 120 minutes - sometimes longer.
they must stand up, or you will know there is something amiss with the little one.
i takes them a while to stand, say about 10-20 minutes, but by then they should be standing. some foals take longer than others
Mare's can have foals about once every year and a half.
After birth, the sooner a foal gets on his feet and begins to nurse, the better. Some get up almost immediately, some take longer. Most vets say that if they are not up after an hour or so there may be a problem and if the vet is not already there it may be a good idea to call and get advise.
No..
Will stand within the hour and begin to nurse.
The mare gave birth to foals...the mares foaled.
Newborn foals can stand within the first few minutes of birth, so within the first hour or two they are able to walk and run.
Foals can walk and run like their mother after 2 hours after birth. They aren't going to be as fast of graceful as their mother though.
no they won't.
