Freemasonry like every other secret society is secretive for a purpose - they are a group of people who consider themselves as 'gods' and who see Lucifer as the Architect. But members unless they achieve a high status of degree within the society will not know what's going on because if they did, they would regret ever having become members.

By the way Catholics are forbidden to be freemasons and many Roman Catholic Popes have spoken and written about it over the past decades.

No society, institution or organization that in its mission of statement says it is a charitable, or does a lot of good among its community would forbid the media to attend its activities. The only reason they do that is because they are hiding the fact that the goals they boast about are all based on lies and deceit. If you are a Freemason, you will personally benefit from the group and would not be indicted for any crime simply because there are freemasons in every high profile institution including the Law Courts and the Police Departments. Of course there are Freemason wherever these can satisfy themselves by acquiring more power and money at all costs. Freemasons protect each other and line up their pockets at the expense of all honest citizens who have to work hard for their money.
