Freemasons are members of a widespread secret fraternal order pledged to mutual assistance and brotherly love. It is the writers understanding that they do not worship the devil. Because it is a secret society this may be termed loosely as being of the devil. For as such are all secret societies. This is of the opinion of the writer.
Of course, if keeping secrets makes you a member of a secret society, that makes any Catholic priest who respects the secrecy of the confessional a member of a secret society and therefore . . . oh dear. Perhaps the writer above should re-think his argument.
No, the Masonic Lodge doesn't teach about the devil. They teach you how to be a better person. All Freemasons must believe in God or they can't join the fraternity.

Freemasonry is not a religion, although it is religious in nature, and requires each member to profess a belief in a supreme being. Masons come from many faiths, and sometimes refer to themselves as a "Brotherhood of men under the Fatherhood of God." Although God is referred to often in Masonic ritual and teachings, the devil is not. Some Masonic writers may have made reference to the devil, but they really speak for themselves rather than the fraternity as a whole, just as no one person speaks for all Christians, Jews, Democrats or Republicans.
There are some who claim that Freemasonry practices or teaches devil worship, or similar things, but that misinformation is based on a lie from the 19th century. It was part of a hoax that a man calling himself Leo Taxil ran for over ten years, in an effort to use Freemasonry to embarrass the Catholic Church. In 1897, Taxil publicly confessed his scam, but some of his lies are still passed on today as tough they were true. One such myth refers to the writings of Albert Pike, a prominent Mason, and his book called Morals and Dogma. These false claims are really based on Taxil's lies and misquotes. Additional information on the Taxil Hoax can be found in the related links.
Most organizations with Christian followers believe in the existance of the devil or Satan.
Freemasonry is not a religion. Freemasons have several different beliefs, and there is no one religion that is "masonic".
A primary requirement of any man who wishes to become a regular Freemason is that he believes in a Supreme Being. There is no Masonic "doctrine" or "dogma" that states that as a Freemason we must worship an entity known as "The Devil".
Freemasons don't worship Satan.
As far as I know, nobody worships freemasons in Tanzania or anywhere else. As for where Freemasons worship, it is at whatever church, synagogue, temple or mosque they choose to worship at.
