Pirating a game means illegally downloading or distributing a game without permission from the creators or copyright holders. It is considered illegal because it violates copyright laws, which protect the rights of creators to control how their work is used and distributed. Piracy deprives creators of rightful compensation for their work and undermines the integrity of the gaming industry.
A pirated game is an illegal copy of a video game that has been obtained without permission from the game's creators or publishers. It differs from a legitimate copy of a game in that it is not purchased or authorized by the copyright holders, resulting in lost revenue for the creators and potentially lower quality or security risks for the player.
